Feature description

Showing certificate on locked screen (So even though the screen is locked, the possibility to see the certificate... See Transportr app as an example of how this works)

Problem and motivation

• This feature is extremely useful for privacy reasons;
• Whenever you have to hand over your phone to authorities so your certificate needs to be checked, this drastically reduces the chances of authority abuse (you basically don't have to hand over an UNLOCKED phone to authorities)

Important notes

1. This is different from "Allow to Store Vaccination Cert in Google Pay". Not requesting any integration with Google Pay, but rather allowing the user to have an option to display the Certificate to be shown on a locked screen
2. There are valid concerns about privacy also of displaying a vaccination certificate on a locked screen, which can be easily addressed by: 1) Feature toggle so the user can decide if he/she wants it or not; 2) Displaying it on locked screen only while app is open/in use (see how Transportr works)

Another way might be to have a quick settings tile that does nothing else than popping up the cert on lock screen, if that's feasable.
