There is not even a English surrounding image in the app, so I assume this is a won't fix.

I would like to work on this Issue, but i am not sure, if this is still relevant. Please let me know, if you are still interested in a solution for this Issue.

it's still relevant because issue is still present. My thoughts are: if you enter the information in English then your not familiar with German that's why the surrounding image from the QR Code should not be in German - this is my expectation

We would need a statement from the team whether this is intentional. Again: In the app there is also only the German template.
