Annotate and export image data

I'm currently working on a project that requires anonymizing DICOM images by annotation (covering sections with a solid box or similar), and I started trying to implement it in cornerstone. I haven't found any information on whether cornerstone can download or in any way export an annotated image however, and I wanted to check if this even exists before getting too deep into the project.

Are there any available tools to download image data annotated by a cornerstone tool at this time?

The OHIF viewer is adding support for a number of the tool types using DICOM SR and SEG. It's pretty far along so maybe you could make use of it and maybe help move it ahead faster.
