Small View - awkward empty space between arrow and view

I have a small view in my popover (a small control). I am showing the popover form a button all the way to the right of the screen. The array goes up (a triangle with a flat bottom) and since the edges of the popover are rounded, there is an awkward space between the flat bottom of the triangle and the rounded top of the popover, on the right.

I am also seeing the same issue. In my case, I am showing the popover from a bar button item on left side of the screen. I have managed to solve the issue by setting the sideEdge property of the popover to a small value.
