Are programming conductances stochastic by default?

Open matifali opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

When we convert a network to its memristor-based equivalent network, I have a few questions.

  1. Are conductances programmed as they are?
  2. Are they programmed using voltage pulses?
  3. Do they exhibit some stochasticity (C2C variation). (same weight will be mapped to a different conductance each time)
  4. Do the conductance of a memristor change when we use the network for inference and a current is passed through it.
  5. If 4 is yes, is there a feedback control mechanism to keep the weights to their programmed values?

Awaiting your response.
