I got the notice/error below when attempting to install lil Fenix in Windows 7 64x. I was not unable to install but I am so looking forward to it! I as "this" close to writting my own little Fenix!

Setup

X Access Violation at Address 00408CC7 in module 'fenixsetup.tmp'. Read of address 00000000

                            - OK -

Could it be I am missing a dependency that your software did not dectect?

Did you run the installer as an administrator?

I just tried it again just to make sure I did, and same error... What else could it be?

Do you have a portable app?

I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling under compatibility mode... this might fix your issue.

By portable app, I'm assuming you mean a single .exe file, to which the answer is no. You could make one from the source, but it will launch very slowly due to the way node-webkit handles dependency extraction within a single file.

You could also run Fenix from the source. Even though you're on Windows, the instructions for running on Linux will help you run the app from the source code.

Did this work for your in compatibility mode?

same failure, as administrator, even in compatibility mode
