gnuroot Android does not recognize free space after files in GNUROOT are deleted

Firstly, thanks for making it happen: Gnuroot is the best piece of work since Android was born.

Secondly, I can happily report that I have successfully compiled OpenCV 2.4.9 under Debian Wheezy in GnuRoot.

I would like to know, as a side issue, how I could share the binaries, as I believe it would be really useful.

Now the problem: OpenCV created about 1.5gb of files during compilation. After I deleted some of these files, some Android apps, like Google Play, fail to recognize the free space, while others, like CPUZ do.

It has caused me unable to install new apps.

Any solutions?

Btw, it would be nice to document this: soft link, permissions etc do not work in /home as it is mirrored directly in Android's main filesystem. I found out only after compilation of OpenCV failed. It succeeded after I move the compilation to /usr/local/share.

Anyway, just another side issue: how to get sensors and camera working in GNUROOT?

cat /etc/debian_version
uname -a

Also, please go to Settings, then to "Application Manager" or "Apps", then to the "App info" screen for GNURoot. What version number is listed there? (Please always tell us this version number, every time you file a bug report.)

Firstly, GNURoot Wheezy is going to be going away is preference for GNURoot Debian (after a few more improvements to the later).
One nice thing about GNURoot Debian is it supports other apps making intents to install packages, run commands etc. For example GNURoot Octave app is very simple and just installs and executes octave (it will take the place of my previous Octave app). I am wondering if your work can be delivered in a similar fashion.

I am not sure how to force android to recognize storage freed up. That will have to be looked at later. Does this get properly updated when you restart your device?

Yes documentation is needed. The home directory being on external storage is an interesting one.
