Some UX/UI hassles while using Coracle as a PWA
I installed Coracle as a PWA on my iOS device and I would like to share some small hassles I experience with the updated design.
It's not easy to navigate back to my 'home' / feed overview
When you leave the feed view, you need to make several taps (open the menu, find and click on feed which is the last item in the menu there). Or when you've viewing a note and make some other taps into other notes or profiles, you have to tap them away each to get back to the feed. I'm used to a tap on a logo or other item which is always there to go back to 'home' / the feed.
The fixed navigation items in the corners at the bottom are hard to tap on
These items are (too) closed placed to the bottom making it hard to tap on them.
There should be a "close all" button when you're multiple levels deep in modals:
For the rest, @dtonon any thoughts?
I would keep the bottom bar always visible, this should solve the problem permitting the user to jump easily to a different area.
I think we should review and/or optimize the multiple modals stacking too, sometimes is actually confusing (e.g. the fact you can repeatedly enter the profile of the same user).
I was thinking of moving on the horizontal dimension, having a return icon on the left and a close (all) icon on the right: (desktop view, the mobile one would have the same concept)
We need to discuss it and verity all the edge cases.
These items are (too) closed placed to the bottom making it hard to tap on them.
I don't know, they are in the classic lower position of the toolbar, probably with large screens the user tends to hold the phone higher and this makes it less comfortable. @Sebastix can you share the screen size of your device?
