Almost the same thing happens here, you even download it, but in the end you get the error below:
Error response from daemon: Get "https://quay.io/v2/": net/http: TLS handshake timeout
Does it have to do with the Ubuntu version? Before installing a previous version, I will wait for any comments.

Just do it manually and it's going to work.
I have the exact same problem, I have existing files in /var/www/html and nginx running, would this be a problem?
@DlgshKurd or @andersonaguiaralves or @Desarso I this still and issue? Could you please try again on one of the supported OS?
