Cant level below Z_Endstops

Open cryoplay opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

Hi there.

I have a massive modded Anycubic Chiron. I Upgraded all Axes with Linear Rails including the Printbed. Its now fixed without springs.

Also my hotend is a watercooled direct BMG hotend.

So i wanted to try your Firmware.

But when i want to level the bed i cant go below the Z_Endstops.

My Printbed is about 0.35 below the Z Endstops.

Can someone help me with this Issue?

Ok so this is not a direct answer to the original poster (sorry), but hopefully it may help if you still have the adjustment springs on the print bed.

I had the same issue when attempting to set up mine. I needed to reverse what i had always been told (release the bed adjusters to be as far away from the print head). So INSTEAD, raise the bed a little, but bear in mind that the head WILL interfer until you amend the level with the hidden menu alignment.

So i needed to use the bed springs to raise the bed and then use the firmware to level the bed afterwards. This gave me the ability to get my Z axis leveled.
