Height-mapped USA - Scale color looks weird

When using the code for the USA map I get this (see the scale bar):

Hi @EdenGoldfarb , thanks for the report.

I do not see this when I run it. Nor to I see it in the online vignettes, so I'll need some help.

Could I grab a few details from you to try and track this down?

  1. If you visit this vignette online does the scale look ok or wrong? i.e. https://coolbutuseless.github.io/package/ggrgl/articles/geom-polygon-z.html
  2. What OS are you running?
  3. What version of R, and rgl are you using?
