Data sources: Multiple geometry types error shown with same geometry?

When uploading this GeoJSON file to use as a Data Source the following issue is displayed:

It appears all of the geometry in this file are Polygon or MultiPolygon. I suspect that the issue above meant to display [POLYGON, MULTIPOLYGON].

  1. Are MultiPolygons allowed?
  2. If so, should it be an issue if they are in the same GeoJSON file?
