@Arup3201: We close the tickets once bugs have been fixed, so if you find an open ticket such as this one, you can be reasonably sure that it's not yet implemented or fixed.
Hi, when trying to solve this issue I found that I have a lot of knowledge gap regarding XMPP servers and how converse is working actually.
I have started learning the following things -
- XMPP Protocol Fundamentals
- Multi-user chat (MUC) I saw a lot of issues with this tag...
- XMPP extensions
I will really appreciate if you can guide me about what I need to know more in detail before starting to contribute more on this repository. Thanks in advance!
PS: Till now I have used jabber.hot-chilli.eu server for testing but it is not working with file uploads. My assumption is that I might need prosody or open-fire setup before starting to work on this issue?? I am not sure. I need help in this part as well.
@Arup3201: You don't need any specific XMPP server to work on this issue, any XMPP server that supports HTTP file uploads will be good enough.
