The layouts page takes minutes to load

Multiple computers, multiple browsers, over multiple years I keep expecting this page to get fixed but it keeps hanging my browser. Have you guys tried actually loading this page in your browser? What could I possibly be doing differently that causes it to hang my whole browser tab for minutes before rendering?

It seems like it could be the monaco editors, it probably can't handle more than one of this level of complexity. Something is hanging it super hard and the blue progress bar at the top never quite ends.
