Tooling for automating migrations in a more opinionated way

Context

I read through this article detailing a workflow for implementing migration tooling in Circle CI and loved it. As I was reading through the article, I thought to myself: I wonder if any of these approaches will be implemented in the contentful CLI?

I think it could be really valuable to have first-class support for an environment to know what migrations have been run, and to use the CLI to apply additional migrations.

Does your roadmap include implementing more mature tooling around applying migrations, similar to what was articulated in the Circle CI article above?
