Add a back button to the top so that I can navigate to a previous screen
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a back button in the top area of the main content pane that:
- Returns users to their previous view
- Maintains navigation history during the session
@Firewall if theres a Go back button, there should also be a Go forward button, too.

Exactly. Disabled (either of them) when the user is at the end of the history (either way).
Good to have: long press to show the history in a dropdown.
Remember the command palette for all commands.
