Feature request: ggplotly support?

Hi there!

I love your package, thanks for the great work. For my application I have users switch between ggplot and interactive plotly visualisation and was wondering you'd consider supporting ggplotly. Currently only the 'regular' bar plot shows up and the x guide disappears - it'd be awesome if it still looked (almost) the same and I could implement users clicking on the bars of interest to gain access to the intersection values.

Hi Joanna,

this is an interesting idea, and I agree that it would be cool to allow the plots to be interactive. However, I don't have the bandwidth to take care of the implementation for ggplotly. I don't even know if ggplotly allows extensions or not. But if someone (or you) wants to give it a try, I would be happy to accept a PR.
