phasmoeditor Error decrypting save file - make sure you're using the correct file (and that it's valid)

When i edit my backed up save. (just the prestige) then i try to edit it again after i check the save change on the game i get the "Error decrypting save file - make sure you're using the correct file (and that it's valid)"

I tried deleting the files so they are replaced by the steam back and get the same message.

Also i do have steam cloud synch turned off

Could you upload your save file to this issue? I'll have a look at what's causing this

Select save files seem to end up with invalid JSON, ruining phasmoeditor's ability to parse the file. I'm planning on working on a full re-write at some point, which will make the parser more robust and fault-tolerant. The current fix (at this point in time) is to reset your save file unfortunately (or manually remove the bad JSON) if this doesn't work let me know
