1 gist: add file to gist (this item is not in the list of commands, if the file is already in the current gist) 2 appears a list of gists 3 choose the right gist 4 in the status bar you receive the file name 5 enter the name of the file

Can you try to update gist plugin and try to reproduce the issue.
