plugin forgets what gist file belongs to

About every other day I have to re-"Add file to gist". I'm not sure whats causing gist to forget to what file a gist belongs.

You mean you want to update a gist using a local copy and it keeps forgetting which online gist is associated with the file? ~~Maybe this is by design, e.g. for privacy reasons, or because of simpler implementation (you don't need a database).~~ Edit: I just read the description of the features (I'm new to this plugin, I just like to check issues for new software when I consider using it) and the design intent is clear - the plugin should remember published gists.
