Add option to open links in new tab by default

Please add option to open bookmarks in new tab, so I do not have to hold CTRL key down to do so.

Thanks, I am aware of this. Given my heavy use of the speed dial, an option to automatically open in a new tab would be better.

Thanks!

You can use MMB click or Ctrl+LMB click. Also some settings at about:config browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs - for ff inbuilt bookmars

Opening up an old request, but this still is on top of my most wanted list. Open link in background tab. That would be awesome! ctrl left click only opens new tab on the left, not desired. Right clicking and opening in new tab opens a new tab on the right and takes you straight to it. To much effort/clicks. Middle click doesn't work in my case since it's mapped to ctrl-f4
