Unable to safely remove usb

Since notify is also watching the contents of removable external drives, you cannot safely eject a USB.

You don't need to "safely" remove the USB, just remove it.

Theoretically W10 (and superior) supports "quick eject" so you could remove a device without ejecting it first, but I always suggest to eject it properly because the system could be still writing some files. For example, when you complete a file copy to the USB stick, it could be still writing some files from its cache and if you remove the device (and so cut its power) something could not be written as expected.
