Sometimes long node labels are not completely visible. One suggestion is to add a "long press" node interaction to create a "pop up" with the complete node label, to the side of the node for a set number of seconds. Creating the "pop up" to the side would prevent occlusion since the node is being pressed by a finger.

This also leaves room for a longer long press to reveal a context menu with node info in the future.
