Is Neptune still being developed?

Pluto seems to receive frequent updates and improvements, while this repo seems to be stuck at more than one year ago. I really like the simplicity that Pluto brings to the notebook paradigm, but I really can't get used to the reactive feature, which is more often breaking my approach than actually helping me avoiding mistakes. So, I'm curious to know if this project is still under maintenance and there are no recent commit for a lack of interesting new features or if it stale because of a lack of time, motivation, etc.
