Hello everyone, in FreeCAD software, we are trying to implement opensees as a solver in FreeCAD, I saw this library and want to know is it possible to integrate it with FreeCAD?

hi, sorry for the late reply.

yes, i guess that would be possible. however, compas_fea will soon be deprecated in favour of compas_fea2. it is a significantly improved version so it might be better to explore integration options then.

will ping you here when the compas_fea2 repo is made public...

hi @ebrahimraeyat we got indeed a bit side-tracked with various project deliveries but have recently picked up the development again. currently the goal is to have a first stable version available by the middle of february. i will try to make some kind of roadmap available somewhere so you can follow the development directly...
