Does anyone know what this guy is saying on the IEG discussion page...?

User case nearby Grave missing Grave pictures[edit | Add topic] We have one special case its for graves missing pictures

when Property:P119 is set with coordinates Property:P625 and missing grave picture Property:P1442

This is about an item (a person) who has a precise place of burial but no picture of their grave. By the way, this item's normal picture would presumably be the person's portrait.

Thanks for the clarification @nicolas-raoul . Is the suggestion then for us to include that Wikidata query in our Nearby feature?

Yes, exactly. We would modify the query to include graves too. I see grave as rather low-priority, so if it makes queries very slow then we might choose not to include them, but I expect the performance impact to not be noticeable.

if queries slow things down, could we use an idea similar to StreetComplete's 'Quest Selection'? This enables toggling on and off of what is presented on the screen.

Indeed we already have a Place type setting in Nearby, we could use a SPARQL query or another based on what is selected. This way, non-grave Nearby searches would not be slowed down at all.
