[Bug]: After returning from Wikidata, searched images ("Nearby") are missing
Summary
If I return to the Commons app after viewing information from Wikidata, for example, not all the images I was looking for ("Nearby") are displayed.
Steps to reproduce
- follow the link to Wikidata of a picture you are looking for
- https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:20240901_xl_1613-Commons_App_Screenshot_-nach_der_R%C3%BCckkehr_aus_Wikidata_fehlen_gesuchte_Bilder(%22In_der_N%C3%A4he%22).png
-
return to the Common App
-
all searched images (“nearby”) are no longer displayed
- https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:20240901_xl_1613-Commons_App_Screenshot_-nach_der_R%C3%BCckkehr_aus_Wikidata_fehlen_gesuchte_Bilder(%22In_der_N%C3%A4he%22)_2.png
Expected behaviour
After returning from Wikidata, all searched images of the last location(!) are displayed
A separate button "Refresh here" (exactly at the point on the map to which I had just zoomed) could solve the problem.
Actual behaviour
If I return to the Commons app after viewing information from Wikidata, for example, not all the images I was looking for ("Nearby") are displayed.

Hi @OpenGreenStreet ,
Nearby has changed so much since the latest stable release, I doubt the code related to this exists anymore.
Any chance you could try building an APK from the latest source and try it?
@nicolas-raoul ,
Unfortunately not. I am interested in the subject. But I don't have the necessary resources and skills. I would be happy to test it again with the next stable version. I think that I would have liked something similar via a feature request.
The simplest thing from my user's point of view would be an additional button for updating. In my opinion, this would also be helpful in other situations. StreetComplete offers exactly that via the “download here” function.
@OpenGreenStreet 5.1.2 has been released since; can you check if the problem still occurs?
@mnalis great, thanks, I tested it in two places and it worked
