[Contributor DX improvement] Codecov report is 800~ commits behind master

It's inconvenient to tell which lines are not covered on the Codecov UI.

If I click the "1 Missing" link in the below picture:

It involves too many unrelated commits, which is undesirable. I could not even know which line is not covered in my pull request.

Is it possible to update the Codecov report? Thanks a lot.
