When a node in the workflow has an unconnected input, an error alert usually pops up. Can it be changed to display a red box around the node instead of an error alert?

By this I mean that when a node in the workflow has unconnected input, the error alert window does not pop up, only a red border appears around the node. The error alert window appears only when all nodes in the workflow are connected correctly but due to other errors.
