Your question

After a recent update, ComfyUI no longer works. Every time I try and generate anything I get a reconnecting message. A few months ago, everything was working fine. There has not been any changes to my hardware or system. Below is my system information.

I cannot even generate an image using SD 1.5.

I tried re-installing ComfyUI, updated my Cuda drivers, updated my gpu drivers and still nothing.

Please any ideas would be appropriated.

My only guess is the pagefile size that is not enough and/or you don't have enough space in your main drive (where the pagefile is located)

I had something like that - reconnecting when trying to load specific model. I closed ComfyUI then closed all python processes. Then restarted ComfyUI. That helped.

@LukeG89 I forgot to put in the original post that I have my paging size set to a max of 24 gb. You can see my settings below.

@mdkdy it seams to be an issue with all of them, I tried SD 1.5 and various other. no success with any of them. When I close out ComfyUI, python completely shuts down. I have tried restarting ComfyUI a number of times after crashing but it still doenst want to work. I can watch the ram utilization climb on the GPU, but it stays well under my GPU's 16 gb.

Same issue. Plenty of hard drive space and plenty of memory (64GB). The latest update really seemed to cause a few problems. Is there any way to downgrade comfyui desktop?

So I figured out my particular issue. The issue was my NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 seams to be no longer supported and for some reason it was causing my disconnecting issues. I downgraded my GPU back to a 3060 and it runs with no issues now.

Any idea why a recent Comfy update would cause this?
