[Idea] Build Fotobox for Members Wall

We got a new 2D colour laser printer (Canon i-sensys MF752cdw).

I think we should use this to promote our Members Wall even further and make it as easy as possible for members to print a nice looking picture :-)

Thus, I would like to propose to build a photo box for this where people can take their photos, add some information and then print it on our new printer.

As a starting point, maybe the following features could be discussed:

• Users should be able to take a nice quality picture - it does not have to be professional quality though
• Users should be able to enter additional data:
• • Name (mandatory)
• • Interests (optional)
• • Wiki Account name (optional)
• • Futher Account Data like github, etc. (optional)
• • Contaxct Data (optional)
• Users should be able to print the picture and the additional information on our new printer in a pre-defined format (maybe similar to the Templates?)
• Users should be able to get their Sign sent to their E-Mail address
• Users should be given an option to upload the picture to the wiki
• Users should be able to take the box to the workshop in case they prefer an action shot

Is anybody willing to work on this? 😊

From a software perspective, it might be worthwhile looking into this: https://github.com/pibooth/pibooth

I haven't tried it, but especially the possibility to use plugins sounds promising 😊
