Write to right directory?

I dig this lot! I am a writer not a coder so this is for me. The only thing: when I run yo go-static inside the chosen directory, it writes all its files and folders to the next level up. Want to write to /home/bretonio/yoyoma. It writes everything to /home/bretonio.
