Different messages with the same PGN, not allowing different names in DBC editor, J2284

Example

0x14FFBF17 is a proprietary message that i have decoded. I want to assign it name A for example.

However I also have message

0x18FFBF11 which is a completely separate message that i want to assign name B. The DBC editor will not allow this, and will display 'name A' for both messages.

I understand as a PGN these would appear to be the same, but I want to be able to name them differently by the reporting node, if that is at all possible.

Well, as you found, currently it's not possible. The system seems them as the same message because of the PGN being the same. I'll have to think about this and see if there's a good solution to allow the name to be different.
