Feature Request: Chrome extension popup Element to act more like picture in picture captions

I utilize the YouTube Picture in Picture feature frequently in the Arc browser and it would be great if the popupElement would act similarly independent from the YouTube tab or transpose on top of the existing picture in picture window.

nice idea, yes! please also make the extension go "auto stop translation" if the server crashes, i constantly have to click stop and start again, sometimes it also interferes (the old stop with the new server instance).

EDIT: just remembered this question. have a look at the tampermonkey plugin "HTML5 video player enhanced script" (https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/381682) ... this one nicely implements itself into the videoplayer-window. maybe the code from it is of some help for you.
