Just wanted to draw your attention to https://github.com/gajus/babel-plugin-zod-hoist

This avoids repeated zod initialization overhead by hoisting schema definitions to the top of the file.

Using this plugin in our integration tests passed all of them... and we have a very extensive test suite.
