I was originally thinking the same thing as @bolshoytoster, but do you think we can just build logic into the parser. Because commands will never have navigation after them.

I have been pressing the red circle at the top (the close button on Mac). This happens about 30% of the time.
I ran through it a few times and this seems to work much better! Thank you for the idea.

I am running MacOs version 12.3. I never run more than one instance of Alacritty thanks to tmux. Also, I have never purposely used `Command-H` before, and this issue happens...
