Interpretation of the trajectory?

Open TheSallyGardens opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Hi,a very useful tool!

What is the significance of the number sequence on the trajectory chart? There are two kinds of numbers on the track without background, is there any difference between them?

Thank you!

I have a very similar question. The tutorial explains that the black circles are "the branch nodes, in which cells can travel to one of several outcomes", and that the gray circles are the different outcomes. This might sound like a dumb question, but do the lowest black circle numbers suggest the earliest cells (as seems to be hinted in the tutorial)? Is it recommended to, therefore, pick the root cells somewhere near black circle "1"? Also, any further clarification on the gray circle numbers would be much appreciated. Thanks!

And what about the meaning of white/opened circles?
