Add vi mode support

This MR adds support for vi mode. In short, it ensures `^g` is bound even if in `insert` or `command` mode. ---- Resolves #70

Currently the `^g` keybinding is not configured for vi mode users. Please add support so that `^g` also works irrespective of vi mode.
