New RSS Parser

Hello, Would there be interest in me implementing a new RSS parser? magpie is pretty dated.

I'm open to that. I experimented 2 or 3 years ago with SimplePie; it apparently ran memory links that killed the server it was on. What were you thinking of? Testing is one thing, running with as many feeds as go through this site is another (and I am way out of my depth of understanding)
