Basic HTML view seems to a feature of Gmail rather than a stand-alone service...
@WebSnke It is, but isn't Google Sites (Classic) also very similar? You could consider it a feature of Google Sites and it was also the old version of it. It's listed on killedbygoogle.com:

No, it's not. Classic Google Sites was completely different from New Google Sites and used JotSpot technology.
The discontinue date is now "February 2024".
