http or websocket implementation?

Would you consider building in http/websocket support, or integrating a patch if someone contributed it? I need a ruby cube library for a project I'm working on, but UDP's lossy...

Add ability to query Cube for events, metrics

Not sure if the best method to hit Cube is via HTTP or WebSockets. Maybe use https://github.com/gimite/web-socket-ruby if we're going the WebSockets route? TBD.
