just try also with the latest colima version: brew install --HEAD colima and also perform a reinstall of qemu after colima as it might fix some bugs brew reinstall qemu

Works for me on macOS Monterey 12.4. no Rosetta installed, MacBook Pro M1, Xcode 13.4.1. I need HoRNDIS to connect to an ADALM-Pluto SDR device.

This workaround disables SIP which in turn on M1 chips disables the ability to run iOS apps. For some people this is not an option.
