Hello, this application is interesting. Thanks. However, I cannot make it work for my samsung galaxy note phone. Does your app support this device? What devices are supported?

Thanks for your reply. I get the source code. But it seems there are something missing, I cannot compile it from source code. See the errors below. How can I solve these issues shown in the screenshot below? error-android-screen.pnghttps://docs.google.com/file/d/0B02926xv80FrTTlTR2twaXAwMzg/edit?usp=drive_web

I used the awesomescreencast.apk for installation directly. In the app, after I click the icon to start recording, I can see a recording icon with "Recording video" in the notification area of Android. But when I click the recording icon to stop recording video, there is no change for the icon. And I do not get any videos.

My phone is Samsung Galaxy note I running Android 2.3. My phone is rooted. Thanks!

Thanks to you. I need more info on your issue. Is the app FC? Does it even install? If yes, are you receiving the msg about the"downloads" app missing?

Info to send a logcat:

  1. Download Catlog – Logcat Reader! application
  2. Launch it, click menu button on your device and press “Record”
  3. Press OK in Record Log window
  4. Open YTD and enable logging from preferences
  5. Try to reproduce the issue
  6. Wait for it and then and go back to Catlog
  7. Press Menu button -> Stop Recording (the file name will appear on the top)
  8. Click menu again -> Send or Save the log.

Let me know

there are many projects in the repo you have to include all of them in your eclipse in order to satisfy the pre/-compilation links

actionbar > slidingmenu > AwesomeScreencast

as the galaxy note and the galaxy s3 are almost identical in term of hardware, it should be supported (first work was on the galaxy s3)
