Subscribe to all post activity including edits and new answers

You can currently be notified of new comment threads on a post ("follow new"), but you can't follow other post-level activity. This request is to allow following a post, meaning:

• Notify me on edits to this post.
• If this is a top-level post, notify me of new children (follow a question and be notified of new answers).
• If this is a closable post, notify me if it is either closed or reopened.
• To be determined: should lock/unlock changes notify? (This is rare.)
• To be determined: should this include new comment threads too, or should that remain a separate control?

This would not auto-follow new child posts; if you're following a question, you'll be notified of a new answer and then it's up to you to follow that answer if you want to track its edits.
