AAC 5.1 Not Playing - Rx says 6 chan PCM but no sound

Not sure if this is a bug in Kodi itself, in Openelec or this build..

Whenever I play a movie with an AAC 5.1 audio track, my (Yamaha) Receiver says it's receiving a 6 channel PCM signal but it just plays silent. They used to play in version 4.9.73 (I believe) and earlier, but sounded odd (some kind of reverb effect),

AFAIK, Xbmc and Kodi did transcode it to PCM, or at least it used to.

Oops, probably not a bug, just a feature. Just discovered I had to change my speaker output to 2.0 with passthru enabled, so Dolby Digital transcoding could be enabled, which makes it "work".
