Just FYI for now when we release I am committing changelog notes manually. Maybe this should be automated, so we renamed the issue. Could have it automatically generated but should at least populate the release notes with the changelog.

The original scope of this ticket was to introduce a changelog, which we've done. We aren't going to automate at this time as manually reviewing is a nice process right now.
