River is deprecated in ES 1.5

Since River is deprecated in ES 1.5 http://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/rivers/current/index.html and seems will never be added back

So, that means elasticsearch-river-web cannot be used after ES 1.5, right?

Yes, River Web will not work on ES 1.6 or the above. Therefore, River Web will be changed to Java application. We started to work on it.

River Web 1.5 runs as Java application.

I think that it works on elasticsearch 1.x.
