Minor fix in README.md to improve grammar and readability. Added a missing full stop at the end of the introduction sentence.

Hi, This doesn't just add a period, but the entire sentence, in a section where I feel it doesn't belong. If the project README would need such an introductory sentence about the language, then it should go in the first (Overview) section.
