Tenon is great, but a pay service if that's a barrier. aXe is what powers Google Lighthouse under the hood. Other products in this space are Level Access' Accessibility Management Platform (AMP) and The Paciello Group's ARC. I haven't personally used AMP or ARC, but they're well-known companies in the accessibility space.

In a perfect world, you're going to want to have two scrapers, as one scraper may not check for things another will. I also find it's helpful to compare results to guard against things like false positives.

wcag2aa vs. wcag2a are good standards to use as baselines.

The scrapers I coded use Google Lighthouse, which is fine while we don't do a lot of queries in parallel per second
