🐞Playback speed isn't adjustable half of the time
Concise Description
Since two days I cannot change the playback speed. My keys are working, on the screen the decreased speed is shown ("1.1", "1.0", "0.9", ...), but the playbackspeed stays the same ("1.2" in my case) and is not changeable. It worked flawlessly before.

Hi, I’d like to investigate this playback speed bug. Can I take it?
I have noticed that sometimes it forces my 1.25x to be back to Normal speed. I only like normal speed on music.
hi! and thanks @SakshamSharma10989 @SirDagen @Corruptinglyneedful
Great, because the problem still exists. This is the time when I realise how helpful is ImprovedTube in real life. Thank you for your time and effort and for sharing this piece of software to make my life better.
I dont know if it is video related or what. I have it for example on this video (often but not always): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k23RIcnusog First occuring on 2025-05-31
It is still there. The display counts down (1.0, 0.9, 0.8, ...), but the playback speed remains.
I have now noticed that - if I redefine the shortcut keys, it works again for a while. (In other words, if I redefine the existing keys [a,d], that means: If I first change them to [q,w] and then reset them to [a,d], then changing the speed works again! Hope that helps.
